Landscape Recovery Foundation donations now tax deductible
We’re proud to announce a major milestone for the Landscape Recovery Foundation (LRF) - we now hold Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status.
This means all donations of $2 or more to LRF are now tax-deductible—making it easier for people to support Tasmania’s most critical landscape recovery and biodiversity projects.
Winners of the inaugural Mel J Kelly Bursary announced
winners of the Mel Kelly Bursary, announced on Thursday 6 March. Isobel Thomas from Hobart was awarded the $5000 Mel Kelly Bursary, which will fund an aerial survey of giant kelp and explore the impacts of marine heatwaves in Tasmanian waters.
There were two runners up - Jessica Willemse was awarded $1,500 for her work on blue-winged parrot detection and monitoring threatened species, and Annabelle Erskine, $500 for her project titled Red Handfish Finding via Women Diving.
